Data Virtuoso, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Haoli Chai, M.S., a veteran statistical programmer with 20+ years of experience working in the biopharmaceutical industry. Data Virtuoso specializes in statistical programming, clinical trial data analysis and reporting, data mapping, and analysis table production for ISS package of NDA dossier. Our clinical programming services cover a wide range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, central nervous system (CNS), cardiovascular disease, diabetes, infectious, etc. Our mission is to provide high quality yet cost-effective services to our customers.

Since 1995, Data Virtuoso has successfully provided statistical analysis, programming, table production, data mapping, and many other services that are critical to 17 NDA submissions from 11 pharmaceutical or biotechnological companies.

Haoli Chai, President

Mr. Chai obtained a M.A. degree in Economics in 1991 and a M.S. degree in Computer Sciences in 1992, both from Temple University. He is a senior member of Northeastern SAS User Group (NESUG) and has been the Chair of the SAS Club – a Greater Philadelphia area community based SAS user group initiated by Haoli in 1997. Prior to founding Data Virtuoso, Mr. Chai held positions as manager or lead programmer with a number of major pharmaceutical companies and CROs.

With his extensive experience, in-depth knowledge and technical know-how, Mr. Chai assists clients in developing in-house data analysis and reporting systems and advises on system architectures. Within Data Virtuoso, we have established a “table generation module” that would enhance the quality and efficiency for ISS package production.

Over the years Mr. Chai has taught SAS and NDA processes to numerous people who were seeking employment opportunities as a SAS programmer or data analyst. Many of his “graduates” are now lead programmers, managers, or associate directors in their current companies.
